Chapter 9. Main mode. The main mode is the default mode of the voice recorder which appears just after turning on. Chapter 9.1 Playback of recorded files. The selected recording can be played using the play button. After the playback finishes, the voice recorder stops. If you prefer to play more files one by one, it is needed to activate the repeat function in menu, using settings, playback settings, repeat, and select all files in the folder. During playback it is possible to change the sound filter by the short press of R button. For a quick scan in the currently played file, press and hold the right or left arrow. To pause the playback press the play button. In the pause mode, you can activate the rewrite or append function using the R button. The setting of this feature can be preset using the menu, settings, recording settings, edit selection. Note. If the append function is activated, it indicates the operation by double beep. If rewrite function is activated, it indicates by triple beep. To change the currently selected working folder use the short press of index button. Long press of this button announces information about the battery condition. If earphones are connected, it also activates the hearing aid function. Pressing the stop button shortly announces various informations about the currently selected file, date and time. Chapter 9.2 Setting of playback By pressing the menu button during playback you can activate the sequence repeat. The first press of this button sets the starting position. The second press of the button sets the end position and automatically starts to repeat this sequence. Another press of this button resets the sequence repeat function. For more options enter the main menu and choose settings, playback settings, repeat and choose the preferred mode. Short press of the index button during playback adds the bookmark to the current position. Inserting bookmarks is very useful for easy finding the required position in the recording. To move between bookmarks, use the short press of right and left arrow during playback. To set faster or slower playback without the change of the pitch, long press the index button during playback. Chapter 9.3 Context menu Press and hold stop button to open the context menu. This is a special set of options associated with the actually selected file. To choose the required function, use up and down arrow buttons. Choosing the delete option will allow you to delete the currently selected file, bookmarks of the file or all files in folder. The next option is used for protecting the file against delete by mistake. If you forget to use this function and mistakenly delete the unprotected file, it is still possible to recover the file using the corresponding option in the context menu. The selected file can be split into two parts using the split function. The split occurs on the position where the playback stopped. Next option called label allows you to record a short voice label to the selected file. Once activating this option, recording starts. Talk to the microphone, say the name of this recording and press the stop button. This new description will be joined to the beginning of selected file and can be used for further location of the file. All recorded files can be also copied or moved into different folder or different memory. Open the context menu. Subsequently use the index button to switch the currently used memory between internal memory and memory card. If you like to copy file to different folder, choose copy option. Close the context menu by short press of stop button and use the index button and change the folder. Open the context menu again using long press of stop button and select the paste option to finalize the process. The selected file will be copied to your new destination. Moving the file operation is very similar to copying the file. The only difference is that the source file is deleted after move is finished. This process is similar to copy and paste feature used in windows operating system. To close the context menu please press the stop button. The end of the chapter.
